A
change of scene can help you fast-track your paper work.
I find when I'm really stuck on some paperwork it helps if I gather it
all up in a bag and go to a café. I take a couple of spare bags
along - one for recycling and one for shredding. As I settle down with
a drink, clear from all the daily distractions, I find it easier to focus
on what I've been struggling with at home. I wouldn't suggest taking confidential
financial information to a public place - but if you want to sort out
recipes torn from a magazine or look through your holiday folder or information
from your kid's afterschool activities it can work a treat.
If you're stuck at work it can help to bring home office files to go through
away from a ringing phone and a constant stream of emails.
Why not give it a go and see if it works for you.
Good luck
Sue
