Planet Organic is taking the bull by the horns this month by being the first UK store to charge 4p for biodegradable bags made out of cornstarch. I fully support this and will try doubly hard to remember my "bag for life" when I'm buying my next jar of pumpkin seed butter. It's a small start but I'm sure other shops will soon follow suit!
